Veletiny is a village and municipality (obec) in Uherské Hradiště District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 6.25 square kilometres (2.41 sq mi), and has a population of 555 (as at 28 August 2006).
Veletiny lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Uherské Hradiště, 24 km (15 mi) south of Zlín, and 256 km (159 mi) south-east of Prague.
