Valentine Rausch

Valentine "Val" Rausch is a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 4 since 2005.^[1] In 2012 Rausch was chosen by his peers to become the Speaker of the House. Previously Rausch served as mayor of Big Stone City, South Dakota from 1993–1999.^[2]

Rausch is a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), serving as South Dakota state leader.^[3]
