Kim Tae-hyung (Hangul: 김태형; born December 30, 1995), better known by his stage name V, is an idol and a vocalist of the South Korean boy group BTS, managed under Big Hit Entertainment.

Career

Bangtan Boys

On June 13, 2013, Kim Taehyung made his debut as a member of BTS on Mnet's M! Countdown with the track "No More Dream" from their debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool.

Taehyung wrote, composed and released a single called Stigma under the late 2016 album 'Wings'. He also released a collaboration 'Hug Me' with fellow band mate Jung Hoseok who is more popularly known as J-Hope.[1]

Solo activities

On February 28, 2016, it was confirmed that V will be making his debut as an actor using his real name in the KBS2's historical series Hwarang.[2] On November 26, 2016, it was announced that V will collaborate with his fellow BTS' member Jin, for the OST of Hwarang, the song will be revealed in the first episode of the series.[3]
