Upper Woolhampton is a settlement in the English county of Berkshire. It is situated 0.5 miles (800 m) to the north of the parent village of Woolhampton (where the 2011 Census population was included), on higher ground. Both the parish church of St Peter and the village school are actually located in Upper Woolhampton.[1]

Also in Upper Woolhampton is historic Woolhampton House, which now houses Elstree School, a preparatory school that relocated to Woolhampton from the London suburb of Elstree during the second world war. The Benedictine Douai Abbey community, and its now-closed Douai School is located a further 0.5 miles (800 m) to the north.[1][2][3]

Upper Woolhampton is part of the civil parish of Woolhampton, and lies in the West Berkshire local government district and the Newbury parliamentary constituency.[1][4]
