The University of Puerto Rico at Ponce (UPRP or UPR-Ponce) is a state university located in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. UPRP is the only campus of the University of Puerto Rico System in the southern region of the island.[5]


The campus, with about 3,265 students, is very close to many tourist attractions the city of Ponce offers.


The school offers associate and bachelor degrees in the following areas:

Associate Degrees: Civil Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, Physical Therapy

Bachelor's Degrees: Business Administration, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Social Sciences, Elementary Education, Computer Information Systems, Office Systems, and Sports Medicine Technology
