History

Established in 1968 by Jose and Josefina Tamayo as the Perpetual Help Hospital and School of Nursing, the institution has trained nurses for service in the Philippines and in other countries. Over the years, under the leadership of Dr. Antonio L. Tamayo, the institution developed into a university system offering a wide variety of programs, such as its allied health programs, including the University's core program, Nursing.
