The Union of Economic Interests (Portuguese: União dos Interesses Económicos, UIE) was a political party in Portugal.

History

The party was established in 1925, and represented the interests of conservative bankers, businessmen and managers.[1] It won six seats in the House of Representatives in the parliamentary elections that year.

The party supported the 1926 coup,[1] and did not contest any further elections.[2]
