Udono Station (鵜殿駅 Udono-eki) is a railway station on the Kisei Main Line in Kihō, Minamimuro District, Mie, Japan, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central).

Lines

Udono Station is served by the Kisei Main Line, and is located 176.6 rail km from the terminus of the line at Kameyama Station.

The station is also connected by a short private line which runs from the freight yard next to the station to the Hokuetsu Kishu Paper Co. factory nearby.[1]

The station consists of a single island platform connected to a small station building by a level crossing.

History

Udono Station opened on August 8, 1940.[2] The station was absorbed into the JR Central network upon the privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987.
