Thiomescaline

TM, or thio mescaline, is a series of lesser-known psychedelic drugs similar in structure to mescaline. They were first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin and written up in his book PiHKAL (Phenethylamines i Have Known And Loved). Very little data exists on the pharmacological properties, metabolism, and toxicity of Thiomescaline.

TM compounds

3-TM, or 3-methylthio-4,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine

4-TM, or 4-methylthio-3,5-dimethoxy-phenethylamine

Dosage: 60–100 mg

Duration: 8–12 hours

Effects: strong open and closed-eye visuals, synaesthesia upon listening to music, +++ on the Shulgin Rating Scale

Dosage: 20–40 mg

Duration: 10–15 hours

Effects: LSD-like imagery and effects
