The Wildlands Conservancy
The Wildlands Conservancy (aka TWC) is a California nonprofit organization that buys, restores, and preserves nature preserves, and provides free environmental education programs for children.[1] Headquartered in Oak Glen, California, as of 2015 TWC owns and operates 12 preserves totaling 145,000 acres, including mountains, valleys, deserts, rivers and oceanfront lands.
The Wildlands Conservancy builds and maintains free public visitor facilities and provides free outdoor education programs for children.[2]

- Eel River Estuary Preserve, Humboldt County, 1,100 acres
- Spyrock Reserve, Mendocino County, 5,832 acres
- Jenner Headlands Preserve, Jenner, Sonoma County, 5,630 acres
- Wind Wolves Preserve, Bakersfield, Kern County, 93,000 acres[3]
- Mariposa Reserve, Silverado, Orange County, 897 acres
- Bluff Lake Reserve, Big Bear Lake, San Bernardino County, 120 acres
- Bearpaw Reserve, Forest Falls, San Bernardino County, 600 acres
- Oak Glen Preserve, Oak Glen, San Bernardino County, 2,189 acres[4]
- Pioneertown Mountains Preserve, Pioneertown, San Bernardino County, 25,500 acres
- Whitewater Preserve, Whitewater, Riverside County, 2,851 acres
