The Redback on the Toilet Seat is an Australian country music EP, with all four tracks written and performed by Slim Newton. It was released in June 1972 and peaked at No. 3 on the Go-Set National Top 40 Singles Chart.[1] It was recorded at Hadley Records Audio Studios (catalogue number HEP 537) in Tamworth, New South Wales, and it was the first record Newton made.[2]
