The Order of Things: How Everything in the World Is Organized into Hierarchies, Structures, and Pecking Orders is a 1996 book by Barbara Ann Kipfer.[1] It is a reference compilation outlining its contents in thirteen areas of classification; it contains schematic illustrations, dates, and numerous lists.
