The Library at Mount Char is a science fiction [1] horror novel written by Scott Hawkins.[2] Scott Hawkins is a computer programmer.[3] The Wall Street Journal stated Libraries are comforting and friendly, just like summer barbecues. Not in “The Library at Mount Char” by Scott Hawkins. The eponymous institution belongs to Father, aka Adam Black, Abla Khan and many other names besides. Father’s library contains knowledge to raise the dead, talk to lions, put out the sun. [4]
