TIGHAR

The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery (TIGHAR) is a nonprofit organization located in Delaware, USA.[1] Founded by Richard Gillespie in 1985. TIGHAR has long been involved with the search for Amelia Earhart, and advocates the theory that Earhart successfully landed on Gardner Island, now known as Nikumaroro.[2]
