Tabor District

The Tabor District (pronounced [ˈtaːbɔɾ]; Slovene: Mestna četrt Tabor) is a city district of the City Municipality of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. In 2014, the district had a population of 10,641.[1]

The local football clubs are called NK Železničar Maribor and ŽNK Maribor. They both play their matches at the Tabor Sports Park.[2] Tabor is home of the Tabor Hall, the biggest indoor hall in the city,[3] and the Tabor Ice Hall.
