Steven Roberto Nesbit (Steve Nesbit) was born on 13 February 1936 in Auckland, New Zealand. He was educated at St Peter's College. He is a former rugby union footballer who played for the All Blacks. He played in the position of First five-eighth. He played 11 matches for the All Blacks in 1960, including 10 tests.

Nesbit toured South Africa in 1960 and played in the second and third tests. Nesbit later went to the United States and toured New Zealand with a Californian Universities team.
