The States of Drenthe (Dutch: Staten van Drenthe, pronounced [ˈstaːtə(n) vɑn ˈdrɛntə]) are the States-Provincial for the Dutch province of Drenthe. It forms the legislative body of the province. Its 41 seats are distributed every four years in provincial elections. Since 2009, it is chaired by Jacques Tichelaar (PvdA).[1]
