St Georges Basin is a town in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. St George Basin is located on the shores of St Georges Basin, within the City of Shoalhaven. It is roughly 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of Nowra, and approximately 200 kilometres (120 mi) south of Sydney.

As at the 2011 Census, the population of the significant urban area the encompassed St Georges Basin, together with Sanctuary Point, Basin View, Old Erowal Bay and Bream Beach, was 12,611.[2] Meanwhile, at the same Census, the population of the urban centre and localities of just St Georges Basin and Sanctuary Point was 9,242.[1]

Prominent residents have included, The infamous "Whosup" and actor Steve Dodd.[3]
