St. Landry Parish School Board
St. Landry Parish School Board is a school district based in Opelousas, Louisiana, United States, which serves St. Landry Parish.
Lottie Beebe, the superintendent of St. Martin Parish public schools and a Republican member of the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, is a native of St. Landry Parish, a former teacher in the school system, and for eight years was a Democratic member of the St. Landry Parish School Board.[1][2]
Felix Octave Pavy, a physician from St. Landry Parish, was a former board president as well as a member of the St. Landry Parish Police Jury and from 1932 to 1936 the Louisiana House of Representatives.[3]
