St. Joe State Park is a Missouri state park located in Park Hills on the flanks of the Saint Francois Mountains. It encompasses 8,238 acres (3,334 ha) with a 2,000-acre (810 ha) off-road vehicle (ORV) riding area located on the old St. Joe mine tailings dumps. It also contains camping facilities and trails for hiking, bicycling, or horse back riding.[2]

The park also includes the historic St. Joe Minerals mill buildings and a geologic and mining museum located on the 25-acre (10 ha) Missouri Mines State Historic Site.
