The Somali short-toed lark (Alaudala somalica), also known as the rufous short-toed lark, is a small passerine bird.

This lark is found in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania in subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland.

The subspecies A. a. athensis, endemic to Kenya, is sometimes split as the Athi short-toed lark, Alaudala athensis (Sharpe, 1900).
