Sithu Aye (born 26 June 1990) is a solo project guitarist based in Glasgow, Scotland. He started his musical career with the release of his first album Cassini in 2011. He has released 3 full length albums and 4 EPs to date. His latest album 'Set Course for Andromeda' has been released on May 4, 2016. He has toured with artists like Reflections, Protest The Hero and Cyclamen.

Style

As an instrumental project, Sithu Aye's styles include extended use of poly-rhythmic riffs and grooves, and a lot of solos. His style can be described as a Djent or Progressive Metal with a Jazz Fusion flavor. His latest album "Set Course For Andromeda" features guest guitar solos by Maxim Micic, Jake Howsam Lowe, Stephen Taranto, Aaron Marshall (Intervals) and Mark Holcomb (Periphery).

He is using Fractal Audio Axe-FX II and a Fractal MFC-101 MIDI controller to change patches. Guitar works is performed with Regius by Mayones Guitars & Basses.[1]
