Sir Francis Kinloch, 3rd Baronet

Sir Francis Kinloch of Gilmerton, 3rd Baronet (23 June 1676 – 2 March 1747) is a scion of a noble family whose ancestry is displayed in The Plantagenet Roll of the Blood Royal. Their seat was the very splendid and still extant Gilmerton House, about a mile east-north-east of Athelstaneford, East Lothian, although the 4th baronet lived all his adult life in Switzerland.

The son and heir of Sir Francis Kinloch, 2nd Baronet, of Gilmerton, by his spouse Mary, daughter of David Leslie, 1st Lord Newark, he succeeded his father in 1699, and married circa 1705, Mary (d. 2 April 1749, Gilmerton House, East Lothian), daughter and co-heiress of Sir James Rocheid, Baronet, of Inverleith (d. after 1704). They had issue: three sons and three daughters.
