Location of the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Reserve in Manitoba

Sioux Valley Dakota Nation is a Dakota Nation, they are the Dakota people of the Sioux that reside west of Brandon, Manitoba. The Sioux Valley Dakota Nation has a total population of around 2,400.^[1] Around 1,080 of the population resides on the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Reserve,^[2] which is located by the southeast corner of the Rural Municipality of Woodworth.

Reserves

The First Nation have two reserves, their main reserve and one in which they share.

Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Reserve - 38.2km2 (9,439 acres)
Fishing Station 62A Reserve - shared reserve with Birdtail Sioux First Nation and Canupawakpa Dakota First Nation
