Sindh TV News (brandmarked Sindh TV) or Sindh Television News is a Sindhi television channel. Its a news channel which telecast news, news reports and current affair programs. The management of Dolphin Media House announced to launch a news channel and its testing transmission was started in October 2004. The channel did covered historical and archaeological sites of Sindh and other sites in Pakistan, so it was considered as a first documentary TV channel of Pakistan. Notable Sindhi journalist such as Ishaq Manrio, Hassan Dars, Bukhshan Mehranvi and Imdad Soomro did covered the documentary programmes. The owners of the channel are Dr.Karim Rajpar and Ajeet Kumar Ahuja.

Sindh TV News has wide presence all over the province of Sindh, its network of reporters is present in all district headquarters of Sindh, to smaller towns and cities of the province. Sindh TV also maintains a bureau office in other major cities of Pakistan which includes capital Islamabad, Quetta and Lahore.

In November 2006 transmission was suspended by the Government of Pakistan.[1] Transmission was resumed later that month after demonstrations in Sindh.[2] The network has over 2,000 employees and freelance contributors.

Rauf Chandio (Journalist)

Rauf Chandio (born 1978) is a Pakistani Journalist, Politician, Host, Anchor, Bureau Chief, News Writer and Journalistic career from Sindhi Daily news and Paper Daily Kawish in Hyderabad as Reporter in 1997. He is aslo known as News Director of Mehran TV.Abdul Rauf started his career as Bureau Chief of Sindh TV News, When he was Chief Reporter, he wrote many news in Sindhi and in Urdu Language. He is serving as News Director of Mehran TV since 2008[2] under the CEO of Mehran TV. He has Experience of Communication Officer in Media, Government Organization (Sindh Irrigation & Drainage Authority ) in Media and News Writer in The News International and The Khawish News. After leaving Sindh TV News, he is serving Head Of Mehran TV as Communications Officer. He is hosts the show Sidhi Galh which is aired on Mehran TV. He was Bureau Chief in Sindh TV at Hyderabad, In 1998 he was Roperter at Daily Khawish and Daily Sham at Mirokhan, He was also Sub Editor at Daily Halchul News in Hyderabad and Daily News Writer at The News International. Currently he is now News Director of Mehran TV since 2008 and Communication Officer at Mehran Tv. He is hosting a show Sidhi Galh since 2008 when Mehran TV was established as first Sindhi Media Channal in Hyderabad, Sindh
