Sinan Taymin Albayrak (born February 27, 1973 in Germany) is a Turkish TV and film actor. He is the brother of the journalist and activist Hakan Albayrak.

Early life

Sinan Albayrak was born in Hanau, in the German state Hessen to Ziya Albayrak, who went to Germany in the early 1960s, seeking work as part of a formal guest worker programme, and his wife Gülbeyaz Albayrak. The Albayraks are of Circassian origin (Hatuqwai and Kabarday). He graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory, where he took lessons from Yıldız Kenter.

Gaza flotilla

He was on board of the MV Mavi Marmara in the Gaza flotilla raid. He was detained by the Israeli Defence Forces and deported to Turkey

Personal life

He lives in Istanbul. His second wife was Funda Albayrak.[1] They divorced in October 2015.[1]
