Sikhism in Germany

German Sikhs are a religious minority in Germany. Many German Sikhs have their roots from the Punjab region in north India. Reports are scarce about the population as some claim 12,000 Sikhs in Germany while another reports 15,000[1] and yet another 50,000. Germany had the third highest Sikh population in Europe after United Kingdom and Italy.

In the early 21st century, a large number of native Germans have adopted the Sikh Faith, In areas around Frankfurt, and Berlin etc. Frankfurt, Is also known to the Sikhs, as Mini Punjab, because of a great Sikh Population, residing there.
