Shirley Povich Field is a baseball stadium in Bethesda, Maryland. It is the home field of the Georgetown Hoyas baseball team of the Division I Big East Conference. It is also the home field of the Bethesda Big Train of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League, a collegiate summer baseball league. The stadium holds 1,500 spectators. It is named after Washington Post columnist Shirley Povich. The stadium was created by renovating an existing field at Cabin John Regional Park between December 1998 and June 1999.[2][3]
