Shirley Das is an Indian actress and model who played the lead role in the movie Kadhal Kathai (earlier titled as Kadhal Arangam) which was directed by Velu Prabhakaran. The movie which was actually shot in 2004 was delayed for five years due to a Censor Board ban imposed on the film for its explicit sexual content.[1]The film was finally released on 2009 and was met with negative reviews.[2] She went bald in 2006 to ward off the marriage proposals she was flooded with and created a lot of sensaton, for it was way too an unusual act.[3]
