The 1st Concert In Japan "Shinee World" (promoted as SHINee THE 1ST CONCERT IN JAPAN "SHINee WORLD") is the first DVD by South Korean boy band, Shinee. It was filmed at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo, on December 26, 2010 and Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nogoya, on October 27, 2011.[1]

History

On December 24, 2011 it was announced that Shinee will release their live DVD featuring their 1st Concert "Shinee World" in Japan released January 11, 2012.

In the first week of sales, it sold over 29,000 copies giving them second place on the Oricon DVD Weekly Chart[2] and made their mark in history as the only overseas male artists to rank so high on the DVD chart since April 1999 was 2-member British group Underworld, as well as Korea’s very own 2PM who previously had a DVD weekly ranking at #4.[3]
