Sheila McLaughlin
Sheila McLaughlin (born 1950)[1] is an American lesbian feminist filmmaker, actor, and photographer who wrote and directed She Must Be Seeing Things (1987): a lesbian feminist film that heralded in Third Wave Feminism.[1]
McLaughlin's debut film, Committed, which she co-directed with Lynn Tillman, is an experimental narrative of the life of Frances Farmer, shot on a very low budget of $45,000.[1]
