Shegavicha Rana Gajanan is a Marathi released on 11 December 2004. Produced and directed by Babanrao Gholap. The movie is a devotional biopic, extolling the virtues and miraculous powers of the famous Maharashtrian saint.
Synopsis
The film depicts the true events from the life of Shri. Gajanan Maharaj of Shegavi village, who was hailed as the fifth re-incarnation by Datt, a sect of devotees. Several of the saint's miracles find mention in the film, like lighting his chillum without fire; extracting sugarcane juice with his bare hands; bringing water out of a dried-up well; and others.
