Shang ring

The Shang Ring is a medical device for male circumcision. The device – which was invented in early 2000s by Mr Jianzhong Shang – is fast growing in popularity due to several advantages over conventional surgical circumcision.[1] It was approved for use by the WHO in June 2015.[2] The Shang Ring first appeared in 2003 at the Hong Kong International Fair of Technology.[3]
