Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus (formerly known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering and Technology) is an Integrated Technical Campus in the Ferozepur city of Punjab. It was established by Punjab Government in the year 1995.[1] Dr.Tejinder Singh Sidhu is the current director.[2] The institute is fully promoted by the Punjab Government and is registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860.[3] Only merit based admission is available.Students with jee main qualification get admission here.It is considered as one of the best engineering college in terms of infrastructure and studies in north India. It has lush green campus spread over 100 acres.
Affiliation
The campus is AICTE approved, Academically Autonomous under UGC act and affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda and follows semester system of education. Each academic year is divided into two semester- July/August to December and January to June/July. University examinations are held at the end of each semester.
