Sevojno (Serbian Cyrillic: Севојно) is a town located about 5 km east of the city of Užice in western Serbia. The population of the town is 7101 people (2011 census).[1] Sevojno is an industrial center, with aluminum mill "Impol Seval",[2] copper mill "Valjaonica bakra Sevojno"[3] and metal recycling facility "Inos-Sinma".[4]

On a non-binding referendum in February 2012, citizens of Sevojno voted for creation of a separate urban municipality within the City of Užice. However, residents of nearby villages of Zlakusa, Gorjani and Krvavci did not support the initiative.[5] Assembly of the City eventually supported formation of the municipality, including only the town; As of October 2013 the budget negotiations are under way.[6]

The town was home to the former football club FK Sevojno. In 2010, it merged with FK Sloboda Užice.
