Sergei Mošnikov (born 7 January 1988) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Meistriliiga club Infonet and the Estonia national team.

Club career

Mošnikov started playing football with Pärnu and Vaprus. He also played for Dutch club Heerenveen at youth level.[1]

In 2006, Mošnikov signed for Flora

In 2011, Mošnikov left Flora and signed with Polish side Pogoń Szczecin. He made only two league appearances for Pogoń Szczecin, before moving to Górnik Zabrze.

On 24 February 2014, Mošnikov joined fellow Estonian international Rimo Hunt at Kaysar Kyzylorda in the Kazakhstan Premier League.[2]

On 4 September 2014, Mošnikov returned to Flora and signed a contract for the remainder of the season.[3]

On 9 February 2015, Mošnikov signed a one-year contract with Kazakhstani club Tobol Kostanay.

On 11 February 2016, Mošnikov signed a one-year contract with Infonet. He won the 2016 Meistriliiga season with the club.

International career

Mošnikov made his debut for Estonia on 20 June 2010, when he came on as a late substitute in a 0–0 2010 Baltic Cup draw against Latvia.[4][5] Mošnikov scored his first goal for Estonia on 7 October 2016, in a 4–0 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification home win against Gibraltar.[6]
