Sequoyah State Park is on the eastern shore of Fort Gibson Lake in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. It is 8 miles (13 km) east of Wagoner, Oklahoma and 18 miles (29 km) west of Talequah, Oklahoma on State Highway 51. The park office is in the town of Hulbert, Oklahoma.[2] National Public Radio reported that Sequoyah was the state's second most expensive park in 2011. It had over 275,000 visitors and cost 888,124 to operate, excluding the Western Hills Guest Ranch, which cost $2,266,348.[3]

Sequoyah Lodge

Sequoyah Lodge, located inside the park, is the largest of the state's park lodges. It includes 104 rooms and suites, cottages, restaurant, swimming pools and tennis courts.[2]

Sequoyah Riding Stables

Sequoyah Riding Stables provides trail rides and hay rides within the park.[2]
