Sebastopol is an unincorporated community in Nevada County, California.^[1] Sebastopol is located 1 mile (1.6 km) west-southwest of North San Juan.^[2] It lies at an elevation of 1913 feet (583 m).^[1]

It was named during the Crimean War after Sevastopol in the Russian Empire.^[2]
