Saugus Union School District (SUSD) is a public California school district located in Los Angeles County within the city of Santa Clarita, California. The district serves students in grades k-6. There are also pre-school programs on-site at many of the schools. The district is home to 14 elementary schools.
Schools
Santa Clarita Elementary School
Santa Clarita Elementary is the oldest operating elementary school in the SUSD. It was opened at the corner of Seco Canyon Road and Decoro in 1960. It serves preschool–6th grade and houses around 625 students. In September 2010, they celebrated their 50th anniversary with the opening of a new science laboratory.
Bridgeport Elementary School
Bridgeport Elementary is an elementary school that serves grades K-6 and neighbors its own park, Bridgeport Park.

Schools that have been closed
Saugus Elementary School. This school was the first school in the district's history. The school opened in 1908. It was located in the triangular corner of Magic Mountain Parkway, Bouquet Canyon Rd. and Valencia Blvd. The school closed in 1978. The school's bell can now been seen in the bell tower of the Jan Heidt Metrolink Station in Newhall.
Bouquet Canyon Elementary School. This school was opened in the mid 1990s and closed in the spring of 2010.
