Satan's Kingdom State Recreation Area is a 1-acre (0.40 ha)[1] state-operated, public recreation site in the town of New Hartford, Litchfield County, Connecticut. The site is used as a launch area for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing on the Farmington River.[2] Rentals are available from a concessionaire. Rides of 2.5 miles (4.0 km) encounter three sets of rapids on the river.[3]
