Sasuraal Genda Phool is an Indian television drama series that aired on Star Plus on Monday through Friday evenings from 1 March 2010 to 21 April 2012. The story is set in the alleys of Old Delhi. The show was very popular and won lots of awards. The show got replaced by Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum.

Plot

The show begins with Suhana Bajpayee (Ragini Khanna), who lost her mother as a child. She lives with her father and sister, Sanjana. Suhana's boyfriend, Sid (Mohit Malhotra), is a model. She meets Ishaan Kashyap (Jay Soni) a young software engineer. Suhana and Ishaan meet but clash. Unhappy with Sid, Suhana tells her father she will marry any boy he chooses. Her father meets Ishaan in a chance encounter and is impressed by him. He decides to marry his daughter to him. Without seeing Ishaan's photo, Suhana agrees to the marriage. Sid tries to reconcile with her, but she refuses. On the day of the wedding, Suhana realizes she is marrying Ishaan. They go through with the wedding, but Suhana does not initially accept Ishaan as her husband. After some days of her marriage, Sid tries to reconcile with Suhana but fails. Over time, Suhana begins falling in love with Ishaan and eventually declares her love for him. The rest of the show revolves around drama and events with Suhana's and Ishaan's family and friends.
