Sanibel Sea School

Sanibel Sea School is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization with a flagship location in Sanibel, Florida. Founded in 2005,[1] the organization teaches children and adults about marine ecosystems and ocean conservation through experiential education.

Two satellite locations are located near the original campus; one is at South Seas Island Resort located on Captiva Island and the other is located at Sundial Beach Resort and Spa, also on Sanibel.[1]

The school was also featured on the Travel Channel show Marianela's Best Beaches,[2] WGCU's Curious Kids,[3] and in Food & Wine magazine.[4]

Sanibel Sea School's vision is a world where all people value, understand and care for the ocean. The organization's mission is to improve the ocean’s future, one person at a time.[1][5]
