Sacred Heart Church (Lombard, Illinois)

Sacred Heart Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Lombard, Illinois. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet in Illinois. The church was founded by 54 families in 1912.[1] The first pastor was Father Boecker.[2]:160 In 1959, the church was dedicated as a permanent church.[2]:161

The parish hosts an annual Germanfest, which started in 1968.[3] Each year, 30 to 40 thousand people attend the festival.[4]
