The Africa Cup Sevens is an annual rugby sevens tournament involving African nations, organised by Rugby Africa. Since 2013 the tournament has been contested on an annual basis. The 2015 edition also acted as an Olympics qualification tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Prior to 2013, African Sevens tournaments were also held to determine qualification to the Rugby World Cup Sevens.
