Rudra Narayan Pany (born 22 April 1959) is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and is a Member of the Parliament of India representing Orissa in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament.

He first got to the lime light of Orissa politics when in 1998 he had contested independently for the Dhenkanal Parliament seat. Because of him the Congress Candidate had won from the BJD-BJP alliance candidate with a very narrow margin of 2,500 votes. Pany had been suspended from the BJP after that. It was after Pany asked for forgiveness from the then losing BJD candidate Tathagata Satapathy that Pany's suspension was revoked by the BJP.

It is said that Tathagata displaying his magnanimity later supported and helped Pany secure a Rajya Sabha seat.

Mr. Rudra Narayan Pani is an excellent debater.
