Roshan Ravindra (Sinhala: රොෂාන් රවින්ද්‍ර) is a Sri Lankan film, teledrama and stage actor and producer. Through his career, Ravindra has established himself as one of the most influential and popular actors in Sri Lanka. He is the recipient of numerous awards,^[2] including Sumathi Award for Best Actor.^[3]

He began his career as a leading actor in the romantic film Aadaraneeya Wassaanaya as Kasun and he received positive reviews for his performance. His performance in the Uthuwan Kande Sura Saradiyal teledrama as Saradiyal helped him rise to prominence in the industry.

He is known as an actor for being picky in choosing characters, and many of them became commercially and critically acclaimed creations.^[4]

Kadadora was his debut teledrama as a producer.^[5]

Personal life

Roshan Ravindra is married to Sanjeewani and they have a son and daughter.

He looks up to Sri Lankan actor Mahendra Perera.^[6][7]
