Rochfort Bridge is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within Lac Ste. Anne County.[1] It is located approximately 105 kilometres (65 mi) northwest of Edmonton and 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) east of Mayerthorpe.

One of North America’s longest wooden train trestles is located just east of the hamlet, which crosses over the Paddle River valley and Highway 43.

History

A farm near Rochfort Bridge and Mayerthorpe was the site of the Mayerthorpe Incident on March 3, 2005, in which four officers of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police were shot and killed in a raid on a marijuana drug operation.
