Roberto Sawyers Furtado (born 17 October 1986) is a Costa Rican athlete competing primarily in the hammer throw and occasionally in the shot put and discus throw.[1] He has won multiple medals on regional level. In addition, he competed at three consecutive Pan American Games.

His personal best in the event is 76.37 metres set in Jablonec nad Nisou in 2015. This is the current national record.
