Rita Schiano

Rita Schiano (born April 20, 1955) is an American writer and keynote speaker of Italian descent. In 1997, Schiano's first novel, Sweet Bitter Love, was published by Rising Tide Press (NY).

Ms. Schiano's other books include "Live A Flourishing Life," Painting the Invisible Man published by The Reed Edwards Company (MA). She contributed short stories to two anthologies, Early Embraces, edited by Lindsey Elder (Alyson Publications, CA) and Beginnings, edited by Lindsey Elder (Alyson Publications, CA), and has written articles for The Huffington Post / AOL Healthy Living, the Worcester Business Journal, and guest blogger for Psychology Today.

Ms. Schiano received her Bachelor of Arts from Wells College, Aurora, New York and completed Masters course work at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. In addition to her work as a writer, Ms. Schiano is a stress management and resilience strategist and coach, inspirational speaker, and the creator of the program "Live A Flourishing Life." She received her Strategic Intervention Coaching Certificate from Robbins-Madanes. Ms. Schiano is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and the National Speakers Association -New England Chapter.

She resides in Massachusetts.
