Richwater Films was a British film production and financing company and distributor, launched in 2013 by Jonathan Sothcott, which specialises in crime, thriller and action films.[1] In 2016 founder Jonathan Sothcott made Richwater films defuct after getting into debts of more than £500,000 as well as some accusations of theft, fraud and unpaid wages from workers and companies associated with him.[2]

History

The company was launched in 2013 and the first film that it produced was Vendetta starring Danny Dyer, Vincent Regan and Bruce Payne. It then produced Top Dog directed by Martin Kemp and starring Leo Gregory. In 2014 they produced We Still Kill the Old Way, Age of Kill and Renegades.[3]

In April 2015, Richwater Films announced that they have teamed with WWE Studios to co-produce and co-finance action-thrillers Eliminators and Rampage.[4]
